Nanananana Dostoyevsky!

All we ever heard that Russian novels are famous for being so tremendously complex and dark, full of psychopaths and bitter characters who finally somehow manage to redeem themselves after a long personal odyssey. Well, this reputation is largely due to Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Russian author born on November 11 in the city Saint Petersburg. He was a person with a hectic life, in which the rest, both physically and emotionally, was rare. He was always surrounded by a frenzy charged circumstances that were dragging him from one problem to another. Young suffered from epileptic seizures, a disease that apparently was related to his high intelligence, and at the age of 21 lost his father victim of a murder by one of its employees. On April 23, 1849 Dostoevsky was arrested and later sentenced to death for participating in a revolutionary group, but minutes before his execution his sentence was commuted and he was transferred to Siberia to fulfill with five years of hard labor. After prison he devoted himself to journalism and the publication of his novels through periodical installments in local newspapers. He was compulsive gambler, eccentric and temperamental. There are stories that he lived two years of his life traveling from one casino to another throughout Europe. Is now recognized as one of the pioneers of psychology, as in his books he penetrates a lot in the character and inner life of his characters.
In Dostoevsky's books one can learn a lot about himself and human nature in general. Unfortunately the thickness of his works is something that drives away in some cases even the more experienced readers. Fortunately, a charitable and kind soul decided to merge the worlds of Batman and Dostoevsky in order to attract the younger audience. Although the end result is something grotesque and no doubt many will take a look at this comic only motivated by morbid curiosity, the fact is that many this will take you to check out the book crime and punishment, which is already clearly a profit. This comic originally appeared on a compilation titled Master Piece Comics, where several classic books are shown in cartoon format and are, without doubt, a great way to spark interest in the masterpieces of world literature.
Here I leave this link for those who want to take a look at the comic. http://www.againwiththecomics.com/2007/08/batman-by-dostoyevsky.html
